Mindfulness teaches us to live in the present moment, to develop acceptance, to cultivate compassion, and to find more joy and peace.

Are you feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed? Sometimes it can be hard to break out of old behaviors or you may be feeling turmoil over a loved ones’ behavior and mental state. Your relationship may have hit a rocky patch.

I use a clinically integrative approach and incorporate proven cognitive-behavioral therapy skills, exposure and response prevention methods, strategies from solution-focused and family systems theories, and psychodynamic approaches.

Love from my
amazing clients

Meticulousness has ruled my life since I was seven. Every night before school, I carefully selected my outfit, ensuring I wouldn’t face the dreaded morning decision of what to wear. My backpack held fluorescent pink sticky notes, and my ballpoint pen worked overtime creating lists: 1. Wash hands three times, 2. Tell mom you love her, 3. Don’t step on cracks. These lists consumed my daily routine, and by week’s end, my trashcan overflowed with crumpled reminders of tasks completed. I craved control—whether it was always sitting in the same seat in class or consistently opening the right door to my home instead of the left. I loved routines, even numbers, certainty, and sameness—until it became too much.

Krissy is truly a one-of-a-kind therapist. Over the past decade, I have worked with several therapists to manage recurring depression and anxiety, but the previous ten years pale in comparison to the eight months I have spent with Krissy. Her expertise and the work we have done together have had a profound impact on my life, helping me understand how my experiences shape my thoughts and emotions, guiding me through a toxic relationship and breakup, and supporting me in clarifying my goals and developing practical steps to achieve them. Thanks to Krissy, I am finally beginning to feel like myself again and genuinely enjoy my life.

R.S.

Krissy has helped me navigate challenging situations at work. In our sessions, she asks me questions to think about from different perspectives. We discuss them in a collaborative way, filtering out limiting thoughts, which gives me a more logical approach to handle situations. I truly think her attention to detail and continued push to think differently instead of staying stuck in a certain mindset makes her and her practice so special. She does not try to solve problems for me, but rather helps me work on aspects to accept and challenge my thought process, which allows me to manage things more productively and successfully.

Krissy has been my therapist for years. After a few unsuccessful attempts with others, I instantly knew she was different. Her approach to anxiety goes beyond symptom management — it’s something you can apply to all areas of your life. Krissy has helped me not just cope with obstacles, but truly overcome them. I can confidently say she has changed my life and my entire perspective on a disorder that once felt impossible to manage.

B.J.

For anyone considering therapy, I couldn’t recommend Krissy more highly. I began working with her about a year and a half ago, initially seeking support during a stressful job transition. Having never been to therapy before, I wasn’t someone who easily opened up about my emotions. From our very first session, Krissy made me feel comfortable and truly heard. She helped me develop practical tools to manage stress and anxiety, and guided me in addressing deeper issues I hadn’t realized were holding me back. I’m deeply grateful for the progress I’ve made with her help and continue to meet with Krissy on a quarterly basis for check-ins.

J.Z.

Krissy has been our daughter’s therapist for the past four years, and her support has been truly life-changing for our family. With her expertise in anxiety, OCD, and depression, Krissy has helped our daughter build confidence, develop effective coping skills, and make tremendous progress in her mental health journey. She has also guided us as parents, offering insight and strategies that have strengthened our ability to support our daughter. Krissy’s compassion, professionalism, and dedication are exceptional, and we are deeply grateful for the positive impact she has had on our family.
